Camps at Kopparbo

Service Weeks

During a service week at Kopparbo, one or several Scout groups come together to run their own camp. Kopparbo takes care of much of the practical arrangements such as meals, the camp store, and the shared programme.

Service and Programme

Kopparbo provides water, poles, a camp store, latrines, firewood for campfires, as well as meal service with ingredients for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and evening snack.

We arrange a number of shared activities such as a disco, café, and campfire. We coordinate and plan the programme sessions offered by Kopparbo, both staff-led and leader-led. During the remaining time, you are welcome to explore the area on your own and organise your own activities.

Camp Periods

During our service camps, fixed camp periods apply. A Scout group may choose a short or a long week for different participants. A short week can be at the beginning or the end of the camp period. For example, younger Scouts may attend a short week while older Scouts attend a long week, or the entire group may attend only a short week.

Service Week 1: Sunday, week 26 – Saturday, week 27. Short week: Wednesday, week 27.
Service Week 2: Wednesday, week 30 – Tuesday, week 31. Short week: Saturday, week 30.
Service Week 3: Sunday, week 31 – Saturday, week 32. Short week: Wednesday, week 32.

Arrival and Departure

During our service weeks, arrival and departure are only possible on designated days. As we have many guests on site during these weeks, this helps keep the area calm and allows the Kopparbo team to plan programme sessions and services effectively based on your needs.
